WILLIAM F. KING, III

After graduating from The University of Colorado with a Bachelor of Science degree in Architecture/Engineering, William King also did graduate work at Drexel University and The University of Pennsylvania, Wharton School.

 

Mr. King has over 35 years of experience in the design and construction of facilities. Early in his career, he was Vice President and Project Manager for 27 projects delivered by Lewis C. Bowers and Sons in Princeton, New Jersey.  This work included the initial phases of the Forrestal Center development in Princeton, New Jersey.

 

He was then responsible for the formation of the development company and participated in the initial acquisition and development of Carnegie Center in Princeton, New Jersey.  As a Partner of The Landis Group, Mr. King was responsible for the development, design and construction of Carnegie Center, Princeton MarketFair and Nassau Park in Princeton, New Jersey, as well as Independence Center on Route 95 in Philadelphia, Tower Center in East Brunswick, New Jersey and Gatehall II in Parsippany, New Jersey.

 

In 1996, Bill King started his own real estate development, brokerage, construction and property management firm – King Interests.  It serves a clientele of leading corporations, institutions and governmental agencies.  King Interests is experienced in the development of large-scale projects and provides service in all planning, architectural and engineering disciplines.  Most recent projects include The Law School Admission Council in Newtown, Pennsylvania, the Atlantic Foundation and RATS Restaurant in Hamilton, New Jersey and Robbinsville Commons in Robbinsville, New Jersey.  King Interests also provides construction project management, value engineering, construction cost estimating, purchasing and expediting services as well as marketing, brokerage and property management services.

 

Mr. King’s civic affiliations include Chairman of the Princeton YM-YWCA Joint Trustees, past President of the Princeton Family YMCA and Vice Chair of the Board of Trustees of The Hun School of Princeton. In 1999, Mr. King received The University of Colorado at Boulder’s Distinguished Engineering Alumni Award, and in 2000 he was awarded the National Conference for Community and Justice Humanitarian Award.  The Princeton Family YMCA awarded a 2008 Centennial Award to Bill King in recognition of his contributions to the Princeton community and the YMCA.

 

Mr. King is married, has six children and resides in Skillman, New Jersey.
